The Cactus Rooms have everything you need to stay a while: two patios, a handsome bar top, and a kitchenette — plus a great setup for remote work.
The Cactus Rooms are part of The Hoosier's founding story. In 1937, Harold "H.B." Lotz — an architectural engineer from Indiana — and his wife Jen came west in search of the healing waters of the Southwest. After discovering the remarkable mineral waters of what was then called Hot Springs (now Truth or Consequences), the Lotz family bought property here and H.B. designed the Hoosier Tourist Apartments. The Cactus Rooms are part of that original building, occupying a prime spot along the historic courtyard between the old bathhouse — the heart of the early hot springs operations — and what were once the Lotz's private quarters and office (now the Ash Suite).
What we love most about The Cactus Rooms:
Gathering at the bar top to play cards, the historic charm, and multiple patios for morning coffee.
